Liked the idea of Posting Comments on Free Hosting with so many springing up everywhere.

x10Hosting.com is reliable host however there is no Website Backup in cPanel.

You can go to your file manager and archive your directories for download, however if you wish to migrate an existing site to this Server you must archive your directory structures no larger than 8mb for uploads, meaning you have to upload an existing website in 8mb archive chunks.

With this host you have to login to the forum at least once every two weeks or your site will go down. A Support ticket will bring it back soon enough, (usually within 24 hours).

SQL backup downloads can be slow. There seems to be a restriction on the Server. Or maybe this is due to traffic.

I too have Hosting with x10Hosting and although I have to remember to login to the Forum every two weeks I do think it is very good hosting.

The mySQL queries that stgeorge referred to can be slow at times of high demand but this does not seem to affect page load speed, just sometimes it is a little slow when you wish to download a backup.

The uptime is very good and it is very reliable.

So for free hosting this definitely gets my thumbs up!

x10 Hosting has and is going through a complete overhaul or rebuild.
The Net Web had 12 CMS installations on this hosting but for some reason the Account was deleted without explanation or an e-mail, although we were logging into the Forum as required by the Host.
The Net Web used these installations as demo's for Clients.
x10 Hosting appears in complete disarray at the moment and has been in this state for a good 8 weeks.
The Net Web will not be renewing or applying for a new account as we simply have written off x10 Hosting as a reliable host.

Sorry but I have to say this has turned out to be an insane host.
Sure they are trying to improve the business they have built up but they are not to be taken as a serious host in my view.
They did change to a new operation but left many in the dark.
I had a site there and they wanted you to be informed via the Forum which you had to sign into to keep your account. The problem is that even when you did sign in there was no announcements as to what they were up to.
It seems like a money making sc_m to me.
