jSeblod (Content Friendly!), also known as jSeblod CCK is a content management extension for Joomla.

After installation you will get a Message in your Article Manager:
'JHTMLList::subcategory not supported.'
jSeblod have a SubCategory Patch but it will not overcome this error however.

It was more than a little frustrating removing this component and all the modules, plugins and templates as jSeblod replaces Joomla Core Files on installation. It would not be advisable to install this Component or any of the Extensions or Templates at this moment in time until jSeblod either properly document the replaced files or created an installation that did not touch the Core Files.

This Content Management Component was tested with all it's Extensions on three different Websites on three different Servers. Although initially there were no problems with the above error, it was soon found out that it actually did effect other Joomla Components. Web Links for example would not save after editing a Link.

So what's the problem, you may ask, simply uninstall it. Well that is not an easy thing to do.
Firstly it will not delete all the files from you Joomla installation. It will give out SQL errors when you try to uninstall the Component and all the extensions, (this was not a server issue as the same errors applied on three completely different servers). You will have to go through your installation manually looking for all the jSeblod files and directories and delete them manually.

Secondly it does not delete database entries so you will have to manually delete all references to jSeblod CCK in you phpMyAdmin.

Thirdly you will have to overwrite your Joomla installation with a fresh copy of the latest Joomla 1.5.x, (not including your root files or the installation folder), to get rid of the message mentioned above. Why not just overwrite the core files jSeblod has hacked you may ask, well when asked on the jSeblod Forum what these files were a response was not forthcoming, see:
www.jseblod.com/forum/48-general-discuss...limit=6&start=18
You may of course try and find them through the installation files, I would forget that idea, it is a fairly large installation and you would not be sure you have got everything.

I was browsing this post and checked out the forum link to JSeblod.

I cannot beleive that they are so sensitive that they have actually deleted the Posts made by StGeorge and implying he was in anyway Rude.

A real concern as I saw the Posts that have been deleted by the JSeblod team and they simply asked what the Core Files were so they could be overwritten by Joomla Core Files.

Basically the JSeblod Team is "Off It".

I always thought it was the reason we have forums so that we can ask questions and put a point of view.

Is that not what a Forum is?
